Dustin Hoffman, a Detroit native, is an executive with extensive focus and experiences in the disciplines of customer experience, marketing, IT and public relations. Most recently, Hoffman led the systemic transformation and evolution of the customer experience and digital marketing division at Henry Ford Health System, a large health system in Detroit focused on critical encounters, primary care and health insurance.
Hoffman began his career at DTE Energy, a large public utility company serving over 3.1M customers throughout the state of Michigan. Through his work at DTE Energy, Hoffman established the company’s first digital marketing practice area, social media team and customer experience division focused on maximizing the satisfaction of key online transactions. After DTE Energy, Hoffman embarked on several consulting engagements in the energy sector, aiming to help public utility companies connect IT innovation with customer demands.
In addition to his corporate contributions, Hoffman maintains a very active presence in the Detroit community. Hoffman has led numerous volunteer efforts for various charitable organizations focused on securing resources and driving awareness of programs and services. Additionally, Hoffman works as a volunteer instructor and youth mentor bringing the teachings and skills of martial arts to children in the community.
Hoffman holds an MBA from Michigan State University and a BA in Economics from Albion College. Additionally, Hoffman was recognized in 2015 for his digital marketing contributions by the Henry Ford Health System Innovations Institute. Hoffman currently resides in St. Clair Shores, Michigan.
